DECHEMA, Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology invites nominations for the DECHEMA Prize of the Max Buchner Research Foundation - The prize is endowed with 20,000 Euro and is awarded for outstanding research in the fields of applied chemistry, process engineering, biotechnology, and chemical apparatus. Preference is given to younger scientists whose work is fundamentally important and successfully combines theory with practical application. Nominations of industrial candidates are welcome. Candidates should preferably be European and have carried out their work at universities, other scientific research institutions, or in industry.
The DECHEMA Prize will be presented at a public Award Ceremony on November 28, 2014 at DECHEMA-House in Frankfurt /Main, Germany. It has been conferred annually since 1951.
Proposals for the 2014 award should be submitted by April 25, 2014 to
Max Buchner Research Foundation,
Theodor-Heuss-Allee 25, D-60486 Frankfurt / Germany.
Proposals should be accompanied by a statement of the outstanding achievements of the candidate together with a publications list, copies of recent relevant publications and a curriculum vitae. Self-nominations are not possible.
